Soccer Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Perry was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Jackson Polar Bears by a score of 2-1. Perry haven't had much luck with Jackson recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Perry's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Jackson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3-1.

Coming up, Perry will challenge Roosevelt at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Perry will need to watch out since Roosevelt have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches. As for Jackson, they will square off against Walsh Jesuit at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
