Volleyball Recap: Santiago Comes Up Short

Santiago was the 3-2 winner over Bolsa Grande when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cavaliers fell 3-1 to the Matadors on Tuesday. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Santiago's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bolsa Grande, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Santiago will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Estancia at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bolsa Grande, they will challenge Rancho Alamitos at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vaqueros will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Matadors surely won't give up without a fight.
