Football Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Pleasant Valley + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pleasant Valley had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Winston County Yellowjackets by a score of 40-28. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won seven games in a row.

Braxton Salster produced another solid performance rushing for 189 yards and four scores while picking up 11.1 yards per carry, and also throwing for 110 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 105.7 rushing yards per game.

Loss or not, Winston County got some senior leadership from Cameron Aderholt and Will Elliott. Aderholt rushed for 190 yards and one TD while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, while Elliott rushed for 58 yards and three touchdowns.

Pleasant Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Winston County, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

As of now, neither Pleasant Valley nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
