Glens Falls had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They snuck past the Hudson Falls Tigers with a 50-44 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Black Bears also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Piper Eddy had an outrageously good game as she scored 14 points plus eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Sarah Wolfstich, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds.
Glens Falls will face off against Scotia-Glenville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hudson Falls, they will challenge Amsterdam at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
