Soccer Recap: Great Oak Comes Up Short

Great Oak and Harvard-Westlake squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Great Oak had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines by a score of 1-0. The Wolfpack were red-hot offensively headed into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the three contests prior) but the Wolverines' defense proved too tough.

Great Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Harvard-Westlake, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Great Oak nor Harvard-Westlake have any future games scheduled.
