Volleyball Recap: Vancleave Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Vancleave couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the Sumrall Bobcats on Thursday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-13.

Vancleave's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Sumrall, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.

Vancleave does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sumrall, they will square off against Purvis at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
