Softball Recap: Toronto Takes a Loss

Toronto lost against Buckeye Local back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Knights fell 10-6 to the Panthers. The Red Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaylee Brown was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Sapp, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Toronto's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Buckeye Local, they pushed their record up to 13-12 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Toronto didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-11 victory against Wellsville on the 9th. As for Buckeye Local, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Bridgeport on the 10th.
