Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Prep Comes Up Short

Notre Dame Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 4-1 to the Canyon View Jaguars. The contest marked the Saints' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Notre Dame Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Greyson Bott, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was Bott's first of the season.

Notre Dame Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Canyon View, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame Prep will challenge Desert Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canyon View, they will take on Desert Edge at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert Edge will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Canyon View surely won't give up without a fight.
