Baseball Game Preview: Shiocton Chiefs vs. Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks

The Shiocton Chiefs will square off against the Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Weyauwega-Fremont took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Shiocton, who comes in off a win.

Shiocton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Mishicot with a sharp 8-2 win on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Chiefs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Weyauwega-Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-3 to Winneconne.

Weyauwega-Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Shiocton, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything went Shiocton's way against Weyauwega-Fremont in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Shiocton made off with a 15-3 victory. Do the Chiefs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warhawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
