Volleyball Recap: Eastmark Takes a Loss

Eastmark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles, falling 3-0. If the Firebirds were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-8.

Tanin Fox paced Eastmark's offense, picking up four kills. Fox got some help from Noah Lytle and his seven assists.

ALA - Gilbert North was led to victory by Cash Price and Dallin Seegmiller. Price had six digs and four aces, while Seegmiller had one block. Those four aces gave Price a new career-high.

Eastmark's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for ALA - Gilbert North, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.

Eastmark has already played their next game (against Combs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Crismon on the 3rd.
