Softball Recap: Durand-Arkansaw Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Durand-Arkansaw's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Colfax Vikings on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Durand-Arkansaw's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Colfax, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Durand-Arkansaw will challenge rival Elmwood/Plum City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Colfax is set to square off against their familiar foe Spring Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Vikings' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Cardinals have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
