Volleyball Recap: Cross County's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Cross County duked it out with H&H on Tuesday. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bearcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Cross County found their leader in sophomore Finley Peterson, who had five digs and five aces.

H&H's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jaylah Gross, who had 12 digs and one assist, and Ava Hurt, who had nine assists and three digs.

The victory snapped Cross County's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 11-5 record. As for H&H, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
