Softball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 9-4 to the Corona Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on April 10th.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Corona, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Centennial will face off against King at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Corona, they will challenge Roosevelt at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
