 Pinellas Park has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  take on the Bell Creek Academy Panthers at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bell Creek Academy took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Pinellas Park, who comes in off a win.
 Last Monday, Pinellas Park earned  an  8-5 win over Owensboro.
  Dane Merryweather made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Merryweather was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Seth Anderson, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3.  Colby Redding was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  Bell Creek Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Tuesday. Their  rough  7-1 defeat to Barren County  might stick with them for a while.
 Pinellas Park has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record  this season. As for Bell Creek Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
 Pinellas Park couldn't quite finish off Bell Creek Academy in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023 and fell  4-2.
