Softball Recap: Wesleyan Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Wesleyan Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Charlotte Latin Hawks, falling 11-0. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.

Wesleyan Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Charlotte Latin, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Wesleyan Christian Academy will welcome Providence Day at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Wesleyan Christian Academy has given up an average of 10.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Charlotte Latin, they are taking a road trip to face off against North Raleigh Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
