Basketball Game Preview: Palestine Wildcats vs. Madisonville Mustangs

The Palestine Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Madisonville Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Palestine has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Madisonville will arrive with three straight wins.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Madisonville sidestepped East Bernard for a 58-55 victory. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly three points.

Madisonville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Palestine, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.
