League recap: Madill tops Dickson to extend winning streak

Madill extended the longest winning streak in 3A District 4 this week by beating Dickson, 41-13. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.

Pauls Valley was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. The Panthers defeated Lone Grove 10-7 earlier in the week.

Pauls Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Joe Foster has thrown for 796 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Dewayne Sanders has 15 catches for 269 yards. J.c. Eyabi leads the league in rushing with 339 yards.

A big matchup in 3A District 4 this week will be when Madill takes on the Longhorns. At the moment, Kerry Roberts' team is in first, while Lone Grove is in fifth.

Sulphur took down Atoka 62-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
