While Wellington's victory against Rose Hill wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Crusaders had just enough and edged out the Rockets 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crusaders have posted since April 11th.

Emerson Brownlee was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Hank Shinliver was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.

With the victory, Wellington broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-13. As for Rose Hill, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-9 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wellington beat the Rockets by a score of 6-1 later that day.
