Volleyball Recap: Loomis Gets the Win

Loomis lost to Southern Valley back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Wolves walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

The win didn't come easy: Southern Valley scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

Ella Ellsworth paced Loomis' offense, picking up ten kills. Ellsworth got some help from Sophia Schemper and her 15 assists.

Loomis' victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Southern Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.

Coincidentally, Loomis and Southern Valley will both be playing Cambridge the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wolves will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
