Baseball Preview: South Eugene Axe vs. North Medford Black Tornado

The South Eugene Axe will face off against the North Medford Black Tornado at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Eugene has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 26.

On Saturday, South Eugene came up short against South Medford and fell 7-2.

South Eugene saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Bush, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Bryce Roberts also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

North Medford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

South Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for North Medford, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
