Basketball Recap: Malad Comes Up Short

Malad lost against Soda Springs back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Malad Dragons took a blow against the Soda Springs Cardinals, falling 60-27. The match marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Malad has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Soda Springs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Coming up, Malad will head out on the road to face off against West Side at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Soda Springs, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cardinals face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Soda Springs is facing Aberdeen at the right time seeing as Aberdeen is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
