Basketball Recap: Ripon Takes a Loss

Ripon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rhinelander Hodags. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 359th, while the Hodags are ranked 48th).

Ripon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Rhinelander, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

While Ripon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
