While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 909th, while the Broncos are ranked 74th).

Murrieta Mesa has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-4 record this season. As for Vista Murrieta, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-3-3.

Murrieta Mesa didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Great Oak on the 5th. As for Vista Murrieta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Chaparral on the 5th.
