Eureka is a perfect 10-0 against Owyhee since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Eureka's victory against Wells wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vandals narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Leopards 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vandals have posted since October 4, 2024.

Eureka took Wells into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-17, 25-16, 22-25, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Owyhee had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They blew past the Railroaders 3-0. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Owyhee took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-4, 25-14.

Owyhee's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Eureka, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Eureka took their win against Owyhee in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Vandals repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
