Basketball Game Preview: Pen Argyl Green Knights vs. Catasauqua Rough Riders

The Pen Argyl Green Knights will face off against the Catasauqua Rough Riders at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Pen Argyl is looking for their season's first win.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-29, which was the final score in Pen Argyl's tilt against Bangor on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Green Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 695th, while the Slaters are ranked 281st).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Catasauqua). They walked away with a 79-72 victory over Bethlehem Christian on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rough Riders.

Pen Argyl's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Catasauqua, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
