Volleyball Recap: Lawrence Central Takes a Loss

Lawrence Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Ben Davis Giants. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-16.

Lawrence Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Ben Davis, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lawrence Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th. Meanwhile, Ben Davis will take on rival North Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
