Softball Recap: San Fernando Has No Trouble Against Sylmar

San Fernando's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Sylmar Spartans. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

San Fernando's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Sylmar, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Fernando will challenge Wilson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilson has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.17 runs per game on average), something San Fernando will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Sylmar, they will square off against Poly at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Sylmar has given up an average of 10.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
