Basketball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Roby Lions, falling 49-25. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-41 back in December of 2024.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Roby, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Highland has already played their next matchup (against Westbrook), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Roby will be playing at home against Loraine at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
