Volleyball Recap: Mauldin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mauldin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Woodmont Wildcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Mauldin was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-22.

Mauldin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Woodmont, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mauldin is set to take on their familiar foe J.L. Mann at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woodmont will face off against rival Hillcrest at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
