Basketball Recap: Cranfills Gap Takes a Loss

Cranfills Gap was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost to the Jonesboro Eagles on the road by a 53-39 margin. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 47-44 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cranfills Gap's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Jonesboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cranfills Gap Lions challenge the Aquilla Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jonesboro, they will host Gholson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
