Basketball Recap: Plevna Takes a Loss

Plevna and Powder River County squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Plevna had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Powder River County Hawks by a score of 45-43. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 66-40.

Plevna has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Powder River County and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

As of now, neither Plevna nor Powder River County have any future games scheduled.
