Basketball Recap: Eastern Montgomery Takes a Loss

Eastern Montgomery lost against Rural Retreat back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs took a blow against the Rural Retreat Indians, falling 46-19. The match marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Eastern Montgomery's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Rural Retreat, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Eastern Montgomery will head out to challenge Radford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Rural Retreat and Bland County will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
