Soccer Recap: Rocky Mount Takes a Loss

Rocky Mount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 6-2 to the Hunt Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Hunt this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-4 on October 1st.

Guliany Fernandez-Pineda and Alanzo Fenton scored both of Rocky Mount's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Rocky Mount's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Hunt, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocky Mount will take on Northern Nash at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northern Nash's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hunt, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Fike at 6:30 p.m.
