Baseball Game Preview: Somerville Pioneers vs. Montgomery Cougars

For the second straight game, Somerville will face off against Montgomery. The Pioneers will be playing at home against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Somerville turned things around against Montgomery on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Cougars. The contest marked the Pioneers' most dominant win of the season so far.

For Montgomery's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Neufeld, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Evan Puleio also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Somerville's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Montgomery, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.
