While Wheatland's victory against Appleton City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mules skirted past the Bulldogs 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Mules in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Wheatland's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Appleton City, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Wheatland will head out to challenge Crocker at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Appleton City, they will square off against Osceola at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
