Softball Recap: San Benito Takes a Loss

San Benito was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Calallen Wildcats.

San Benito suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 8-5-1. As for Calallen, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.

Coming up, San Benito will head out on the road to face off against Bishop at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Calallen, they will be playing at home against Veterans Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Veterans Memorial has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.79 runs per game on average), something Calallen will no doubt try to take advantage of.
