Baseball Recap: Brazosport Comes Up Short

Brazosport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Needville Bluejays, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Exporters have suffered against the Bluejays since April 12, 2016.

Brazosport's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Needville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Brazosport will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Needville, they will head out on the road to face off against Sweeny at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bluejays surely won't give up without a fight.
