After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ankeny Centennial, West Fork was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Des Moines North Polar Bears with a sharp 5-1 victory. The result was nothing new for West Fork, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

West Fork has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five matchups. As for Des Moines North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
