Jay County took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. Everything went their way against the Richmond Red Devils as they made off with a 4-0 win. Aixa Lopez was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

This is the second loss in a row for Richmond and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jay County is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richmond, they will head out to challenge Connersville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
