Soccer Game Preview: Taylor County vs. Marianna

Taylor County hasn't had much luck against Marianna recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Taylor County Bulldogs will square off against the Marianna Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Taylor County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Marianna will be up against a hot Taylor County squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Taylor County walked away with a 4-2 victory over Suwannee on Friday. Talan Aibejeris was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Marianna was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of Franklin County by a score of 2-1.

Taylor County's win bumped their record up to 9-7-3. As for Marianna, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-2 record this season.

Taylor County came up short against Marianna in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 3-1. Can Taylor County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
