Basketball Game Preview: Prep Charter Huskies vs. Bodine

The Prep Charter Huskies will challenge Bodine at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Prep Charter was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 72-67 to Kensington. The loss was the Huskies' first of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bodine). They took down Franklin Towne 63-44 on Tuesday.

Prep Charter better keep an eye on Nigeir Fisher. He was instrumental in Bodine's win, going 11 for 20 on his way to 26 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The matchup was Fisher's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiair Ancrum-Thomas, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Prep Charter fell to 2-1. As for Bodine, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Prep Charter ended up a good deal behind Bodine in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, losing 57-39.
