Softball Recap: Yazoo County Panthers vs. Vicksburg Gators

Yazoo County won the last time they faced Vicksburg and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Yazoo County Panthers came out on top against the Vicksburg Gators by a score of 11-8.

Anna Kiley Leal was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and one triple.
