Volleyball Recap: Rich's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Rich entered their tilt with Manila on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs. For the Rebels, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

In the three sets Rich was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 23-25, 25-14, 25-11.

Rich had a senior duo take command as Tess Cornia had 33 assists and Paige Smith had 18 digs and four aces. Cornia has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more assists the last 20 times she's played.

Rich's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Manila, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 6-11.
