Soccer Game Preview: Millbrook vs. Meridian

The Millbrook Pioneers will head out to square off against the Meridian Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Millbrook fell victim to Manassas Park and their airtight defense last Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Cougars. Millbrook have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Meridian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three last Thursday. They blew past the Hawks 6-0. With that victory, Meridian brought their scoring average up to 2.9 goals per game.

They hit Skyline with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Fletcher Saaty (3), Amin Shams, Isaiah Simms, and Lucas Borg.

Meridian's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Millbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
