Volleyball Recap: Crestwood Starts Season with Win at Home

Crestwood gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They blew past the Western Wayne Wildcats 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

One reason for the win was Crestwood's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-12.

Coming up, Crestwood is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Susquehanna at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Western Wayne, they will square off against Tunkhannock at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
