Football Recap: Hunters Lane Takes a Loss

Hunters Lane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Hendersonville Commandos. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Commandos are ranked 93rd).

Hunters Lane's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hendersonville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coming up, Hunters Lane will be playing at home against Beech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hendersonville, they will face off against Portland on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 10.8 points per game this season, so the Commandos' offense will have their work cut out for them.
