Roosevelt lost against Eastside back in March of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Roosevelt Rough Riders took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastside Lions. The Rough Riders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Eastside got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Wydell James out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards. Another player making a difference was Kenneth Harris, who posted 15 points and eight rebounds.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Eastside, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.

Roosevelt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 80-38 win against Middle College on the 20th. As for Eastside, they will challenge Lancaster at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lancaster is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.7 points per game this season.
