Softball Preview: Pasquotank County Panthers vs. Gates County Red Barons
After three games on the road, Pasquotank County is heading back home. They will take on the Gates County Red Barons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

In other batting news, Gates County let Kyndall Banks and London Barber loose on the outfield. Banks scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Barber went 1-for-4 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Camiya Riddick, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
The win got Pasquotank County back to even at 5-5. As for Gates County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.
