Soccer Recap: Greenwood Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Greenwood was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against the Siloam Springs Panthers, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Siloam Springs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in April.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Siloam Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Greenwood is set to square off against their familiar foe Russellville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Siloam Springs will take on rival Shiloh Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
