Basketball Recap: Titusville Takes a Loss

Titusville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 82-29 loss at the hands of the Fort LeBoeuf Bison. The Rockets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-11.

It was another big night for Carson Papay, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine steals for Fort LeBoeuf. Papay has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Friedman, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 boards.

Titusville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Fort LeBoeuf, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Titusville has already played their next contest (against Franklin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fort LeBoeuf will take on Warren at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Fort LeBoeuf knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Warren likes a good challenge.
